Eucalyptus is a 'petite maison' that abounds with character! The cottage is one of five, set within the seven acres of 'Le Jardin des Amis' in the village of Meyrals.
The property has been renovated to provide comfortable modern facilities whilst retaining its traditional look, with stone walls and exposed beams. This one bedroomed cottage can sleep up to three with the use of the sofa bed in the living area.
Outdoor furniture and a barbecue are provided and guests have shared use of both laundry facilities and the 12X6metre pool.
This is the perfect location for a sightseeing or activity holiday, positioned between the Dordogne and Vezere rivers. The Vezere valley is renowned for its links to prehistory: it abounds with famous caves, and the National museum for pre-history is found in Les Eyzie (4 miles away). The Dordogne valley is known for the 'Bastide Chateaux' which are dotted along it's length. For those who like outdoor activities, there are many opportunities for canoeing, walking, fishing and riding. The beautiful medieval town of Sarlat is 10 miles away.
The cottage has an open plan ground floor with well equipped kitchen area: electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster etc. There is a washing machine and irons/boards available in a seperate building, for use of all guests.
The cottage is comfortably furnished with sofa, armchairs, coffee table, dining table and chairs. Upstairs is a double bedroom with vanity unit and ensuite shower room.
