Situated in Northern Brittany, between Brest and Morlaix, in the village of Ploudaniel, a short distance from the ferry port of Roscoff, an ideal base to discover this part of Finistère, including Iles de Sein and Ouessant and Brest with its renowned Oceanopolis, to name just a few.

Brest. 25 km. Large seaport and naval base in a wide natural harbour, facing the Crozon peninsula. Renowned for its Oceanopolis aquarium. 3 golf courses.
Roscoff. 40 km. Attractive port with 16th-century granite houses clustered around a small bay. It benefits from a lovely atmosphere and boasts many welcoming restaurants.
Crozon Peninsula. 60 km. Scenic rugged coastline with numerous fishermen’s ports and sheltered sandy coves. Spectacular natural setting for walks, bike rides and watersports.
Quimper. 75 km. Beautiful riverside city with narrow cobbled streets, a Gothic cathedral and a host of lively bars and restaurants. Famous for its Breton faience pottery and Armor Lux clothes factory which collections are inspired by the colours of the sea and Breton values.

Golf Brest Iroise, Landerneau. 12 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 71 - 5672m. 9 holes - Par 37 - 3329m. A tough course in a beautiful natural setting. Very much liked by Breton golf players, it is set amidst wild moors with unforgettable views.
La Récré des 3 Curés, Milizac. 25 km. Theme Park. Set on 15 hectares, ideal for the whole family. Great fun!
Océanopolis, Brest. 25 km. Aquarium. An excellent marine life centre and Europe’s largest marine aquarium, on Brest seafront. With 3 different climatic zones, it offers many beautifully presented displays. A family favourite which will captivate all ages.
Lac du Drennec, Sizun. 30 km. 110 hectares of water surrounded by 7.5 km of walking trails with varied landscapes, nautical centre with canoe, windsurfing and fishing boat hire. 2 sandy beaches.

FURTHER AFIELD:
Bénodet. 90 km. Charming and popular seaside resort and yachting centre with long and sheltered sandy beach. At the mouth of the Odet river, it can also be reached by boat from Quimper. The resort boasts a golf course, talassotherapy centre, casino and a good selection of restaurants.
Concarneau. 95 km. Fishing port with delightful fortified old city. Enjoy a stroll through the small town and don’t miss the famous Kouign Amann, a Breton cake full of butter and sugar. Very naughty but so delicious!
Pont Aven. 100 km. Artists’ haunt situated inland from the tip of the Aven estuary. It is a small port popular with tourists and boasting many art galleries. Made famous by Gauguin when he came to paint in the 1880’s before leaving for Tahiti and inspired the Pont Aven school.
Pointe du Raz. 100 km. Most famous headland in Brittany and beauty spot offering breath taking vistas over the Atlantic ocean. Celebrated by Flaubert and Victor Hugo, it attracts millions of visitors. A stunning place to be on a windy day!
