Location
Léguillac de l'Auche is a large village (pop. 400) situated away from the main roads, in the White Périgord which gets its name from the abundant limestone in the area.
Situated 15 km west of Périgueux, capital city of the Périgord with its rich past. Further north, at approx 30 km, you will find Brantôme also called the Green Venice of Périgord with its magnificent Bénédictine abbey. Further east, you will discover the Château de Hautefort. Finally, not to be missed, the Vézere and Dordogne valleys where you will be able to canoe, Montignac, its museum, Les Eyzies de Tayac, and Sarlat and many more castles, caves, Bastides, picturesque villages with their multicolour markets. |
