Lanquais is situated 18 km from Bergerac and its famous vineyards, 60 km from Sarlat and within 50 km from Dordogne's main archaeological sites.
Lanquais's rich past, its lake, castles and concerts, festivals, heritage and wooded countryside are some of the many reasons for visiting this small village. Tucked away in a valley in the «Périgord Pourpre» near the «Périgord Noir», it is situated to the south of Périgueux, between Bergerac and Sarlat, a few km from the Dordogne river.
