Overview

The luxury three-bedroom Villa is the forerunner to the Cottage Gold. It is a popular holiday home and the extra space "supersize" decking outside makes it an ideal holiday home for any family.

These 37' by 12' mobile holiday homes are suitable for those families who appreciate abundant space and unmatched quality. Suitable for up to 6 people, La Villa has 3 bedrooms; one double with ensuite facilities, and 2 twin rooms with their own shower and toilet. With a kitchen you'll probably want to take home, you might spend all of your holiday "a la cuisine"!

Brittany is the most popular region of France for UK holidaymakers; with miles of glorious rugged coastline, fantastic clean beaches and pretty towns to explore it is not difficult to see why so many people return year after year to this wonderful part of France.

WARNING: Just one visit to this spectacular, peaceful region is never enough. YOU WILL WANT TO RETURN!

Once you arrive in south Brittany you will be spoilt for choice with activities and ideas for great days out, and all within a short drive from your holiday home.

The chic coastal resort of Benodet, situated on the mouth of the picturesque River O’det, is famed for its harbour, pretty seaside walks and luxurious marina. Here you can enjoy the superb south-facing beach, edged with cafes and restaurants and only a short walking distance from our holiday homes at Port de Plaisance. Perfect for evening strolls or picturesque bicycle rides. During the summer months you can enjoy a full programme of live music in the bay, including spectacular firework displays on Bastille Day (14th July) and the national holiday on 15th August. There are miles of long sandy beaches to be enjoyed, including Beg Meil, Mousterlin, Kermoor and St. Marine, all within a short car ride from the site.

Boat trips are available to various destinations including Quimper, Concarneau, the Glenan Islands and Loctudy. There is also a selection of organised sea-fishing trips. The region is renowned for its fresh seafood and has a choice of wonderful restaurants, créperies and cafes, many of which look out on to the ocean and offer good quality set menus at reasonable prices.
There are a host of local markets including Benodet, Quimper and Pont l’Abbe which are well worth a visit for the smells alone and a great place to pick up some local produce including Breton cider, crépes and strawberries.
Stretching along the banks of the river Odet, the medieval city of Quimper is a ‘must-visit’. Take time to explore the cobbled streets lined with a host of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Douarnenez and Audierne are the local fishing ports where you can observe the brightly coloured boats as they come in and out with the tides and spend your summer afternoons relaxing on the long sandy beaches.
Concarneau has a magnificent granite walled quarter, choose to travel the coast or country route to this bustling centre. The old port is like a scene from Diagon Alley in Harry Potter as you discover the secret street within the walled fortification with its small craft shops, chocolate factory and créperies.

If you want to experience typical French life in the 18th century then Locronan is the place for you. This sleepy village is the place that time forgot. Pont Aven is a charming coastal town used for centuries as a summer retreat for artists such as Monet and Gourgin, a truly beautiful place with lots to see including small galleries dotted alongside the fast-flowing river and well-marked wooded walks adjacent to the town centre.

The Glenan Archipeligo is chain of small islands with beautiful fine white sandy beaches and clear waters. Day trips to these exotic islands can be organised in Bénodet harbour.

There are miles of exhilarating cliff top walks to be explored; a real gem is Pointe du Raz, the most westerly point of France with its wild mystical seas. Head to ‘La Torche’ for surfing and body boarding, a great place to take a kite or take a refreshing stroll to watch the surfers. Windsurfing, sailing, surfing, kayaking, body boarding, fishing, golf and horse-riding are all nearby.

Information about the local area will be available in your holiday home.
