The kitchen/dining room, with a large farmhouse table to seat up to 10, is fully fitted and has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, iron & board. The large comfortable lounge with a woodburning stove, has TV, video and extensive video & book libraries. Games and lawn games. The French doors go out onto a private patio with table & parasol & leads round to the furnished BBQ area. The sparkling fully fenced 10x5mt pool has floaties! Cushioned loungers and a lawned area, private parking & entrance complete La Grange. Cots, child gates, changing mat, stroller available. A welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, butter, conserve, beer, btl wine will be waiting for you; On site - boules court, badminton, volleyball, football area, archery. The village of St Estiphe, 1km, has a minimarket, post office, bakery, brocants, cafes, bars, general store. Le Grand Etang de St Estiphe has a beach, moored diving platform, boardwalks, picnic areas, cafes, bars, restaurant, children\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s activity area\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s (fenced) and in high season there is a lifeguard and free canoes/kayaks. Tennis court. Horse riding 1.5kms, fishing/carp fishing may be arranged. Good restaurants nearby. The town of Pigut, 5kms, has a huge Wednesday morning market, restaurants, cafes, supermarket & various shops, all facilities. Nontron, 9 kms, has choice of large supermarkets, a good Saturday morning market, all facilities and there are historic buildings and the oldest knife factory in France. Brant me, the \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Venice of the Dordogne\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' is 1/2 hour by car. This beautiful historic town with it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s centre in the river Dronne has a good Friday morning market, restaurants & cafes, caves & a chateau to visit. Take a boat trip around the town or canoe downriver to Bourdeilles (3hrs!) for lunch. St Sornin winery, 25mins, tour & taste before you buy. Angoulme, Limoges & Perigueux are major cities each with Roman \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'hearts\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'. Lots to see & shop for. Oradour-sur-Glane the living museum villge, a reminder of WW11.
